Tokyo, March 17, 2020 – as a consequence of the "Enhanced Community Quarantine" announced by the Office of the President of the Philippines on March 16, 2020, JAE’s factories in the Philippines are currently unable to operate.

Operating status:
Pursuant to "Enhanced Community Quarantine", operation of JAE Philippines, Inc. manufacturing subsidiary of JAE, temporarily suspended its operation from March 17, 2020. "Enhanced Community Quarantine" imposes strict home quarantine in all households and closure of all private establishments except for those providing basic necessities and services related to food and medicine production over the entire Luzon.
We are currently in the process of coordination for an early resumption of production and will announce the future outlook as soon as possible.
