Mini I/O Connector "DZ02 Series"for Industrial Apparatus Has Been Developed

DZ02 series and DZ02 series
JAE has developed the "DZ02 Series" I/O connector for industrial apparatus. The DZ02 Series is a compact connector with a superior lock structure resistant to vibration and is suitable for use under harsh environmental conditions.

As for the conventional production facilities, to meet the safety standards based on the safety of individual equipment and law was the main consideration. In recent years, centering on Europe the necessity of ensuring the safety of the whole system including the software has been increasing.

To meet those needs, the DZ02 Series can be used as an I/O connector for systems compatible with the product standard IEC/EN 61800-5-2 (Electrical Control Motor) of the international standard IEC 61508 for functional safety.

This product has a good operability and secures uniformity (coplanarity) of the lowest surface of each terminal against the mounting surface to improve SMT mountability.

:: Features

  • Push-on lock structure with superior operability.
  • Supports SMT mounting with excellent coplanarity.
  • Structure that prevents solder flux scattering by covering bottom surface of contact area with an outer shell.
  • Supports automated mounting with an embossed tape for receptacle.

:: Applicable market

  Servo amplifiers, motion controllers, PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), and other industrial machinery applications.
